No Easy Options? Being a Writer in New Zealand: Imprints Conference discusses the pros and cons of the publishing industry and book trade in terms of the creative writer. No Easy Options? Is a participative conference for writers, publishers, distributors, editors, creative writing tutors, and anyone else interested in the contemporary New Zealand publishing scene. 

Keynote Speakers: Emily Perkins, Steve Braunias and Christine Cole Catley. Fee: $65 ($55 for TW attending members.) Includes morning & afternoon tea, coffee & biscuits. BYO lunch or eat local.
