Join SFFANZ

The following is a message from John Toon, Treasurer, Science Fiction and Fantasy Association of New Zealand (SFFANZ) …

Membership fees for anyone wishing to participate in the SFFANZ AGM and/or vote in this year’s Sir Julius Vogel Awards* will need to be paid before or at Conclave 3, the 2018 NZ convention, which takes place over the weekend of 30th March to 2nd April in Auckland.

(* Paying attendees at Conclave 3 are also eligible to vote in the SJVs, but not to participate in the SFFANZ AGM.)

Renewal for anyone who isn’t concerned about the SFFANZ AGM or the SJVs is less urgent, but please be assured that all membership fees contribute to the material cost of the beautiful SJV trophies and are greatly appreciated.

The cost of a year’s membership of SFFANZ is currently $10. There are three ways you can renew your membership of SFFANZ:

    • by post
    • by direct bank transfer
    • by cash at Conclave

For the specific details (address, bank acct number etc), or if you have any other questions please contact treasurer@sffanz.org.nz

SFFANZ Membership

SFFANZ is the Science Fiction and Fantasy Association of New Zealand. Membership dues for SFFANZ are now due by the AGM – set down to happen on 4 Jun during Lexicon. Amongst other benefits, current members of SFFANZ are able to vote in the Sir Julius Vogel awards even if they are not members of Lexicon (but be quick, you only have until 8pm Tuesday for email votes).

Memberships will be taken at Lexicon, however if you are not attending and wish to (re)join SFFANZ, the details for joining are to be found here.
